History
This character is very loosely inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Story of the Brown Hand”, which was published in Strand Magazine in 1899. Doyle’s tale tells the story of a doctor long haunted by the ghost of an Afghan soldier whose hand he amputated in India.
